1930’s Art Deco American Black Walnut Veneered Chest of Drawers

We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer you this stunning Art Deco Chest of Drawers veneered in absolutely fabulous American Black Walnut. This exceptional piece veneered in American Black Walnut (East Coast) is an absolute treasure. It comprises of 2 deep drawers to the base with 4 faux drawers above. The upper section opening to reveal a deep shelved cupboard which is fully locking with its original key. The drawers are adorned with aluminium D shaped handles with aluminium backplates, very striking and very tactile. Flanking the drawers is a stunning border of burr walnut veneer which is again used in the “inset ” of the plinth. This really is a fabulous Art Deco Chest of Drawers, stunning in appearance but hugely practical with masses of storage. All drawers run smoothly, locks and catches have been fully checked and work wonderfully. All hinges, removed, checked for wear, polished and refitted. It can’t be emphasised how striking this chest is and will work well in multiple applications in your home. For example would look wonderful in a hall setting, perhaps with a mirror above.
