For those with a more discerning taste, seeking something genuinely rare whilst also offering the highest quality, functionality, kerbside appeal and lastly but by no means least a real insight into the opulence and privilege of the roaring 20's and 30's Art Deco period then look no further than this fabulous gentleman's compactum four door walnut wardrobe. This wardrobe offers all the bells and whistles you could possibly think of and even those you couldn't. Things that you didn't even know you needed in a wardrobe with a feeling of 'oh wow' when you see and realise that you do. From the little chrome perforated dome pods that allow you to add potpourri inside the robe, thus eliminating the need for lavender pouches and or worse the wonderful scent of mens 'socks', yes you know who you are. On first viewing when you open the doors, you can't help but feel you're being catapulted back to the 1930's inside a shop fitters. Whole banks of sliding glazed drawers and doors for every conceivable garment, beautifully labeled. Drawers fitted with compartments for collars & cufflinks was most definitely for the wealthy gentleman of the time. A bank of chrome ended sheets of walnut to keep your shirts neatly pressed, could also work for t-shirts etc. A pull out chrome pole on the exterior to rest your clothing on whilst changing, chrome pull out trouser and jacket rods, hidden /secret drawers, full length mirror, shoe rack hidden within plinth. These are just some of the many facets of this multitask wardrobe. It's hard not to wax lyrical about this piece, even the inside of the doors boast piano hinges and cross banded herringbone pattern veneers. Even the three in-stepped plinth is unusual, rare and continually tick the box confirming quality. Nearly every chrome fitting is marked with a patent number and this is shown also on the makers label which also confirms the wardrobes conception of Regents Street, London, England. Check the many images and see for yourself what a real gem this is! As with all our furniture, this piece has been fully restored, all locks, doors work as they should. No damage to note.
