Spectacular Art Deco Double Bed
Absolutely spectacular Art Deco Double Bed. Raised on cabriole legs this bed is a rare and wonderful example of Art Deco elegance. The headboard and footboard feature 2 circles of highly veneered burr walnut surrounded by a wide ring of pale mahogany banding. The depth of colour is wonderful, deep and rich, just like a newly opened conker. Having passed through our workshop this bed is presented in excellent condition. It had been in the same family all it’s life, a wedding present originally and then passed down through the generations so is new to the market. We provide slats for the base so all you need is to pop a mattress on top and you are ready to go. The original frame is easy to set up and forms a sturdy support for the slats and mattress.
