Resting on a striking Maccasar ebony plinth is a generous sized two door combination interior of both hanging area and open shelved storage. Two heavily figured walnut doors open to reveal a Mahogany interior. There is carved detailing running down both sides of the wardrobe and also integrated into the base. The perfect piece for intermediate storage if you don't need a full double wardrobe or if there is space limitation. Original details like the labeling for different garments of clothes to the original tortoise shell and chrome handle set this piece aside from others, offering that extra authenticity. There is a pull out press drawer, chrome bar shoe rails. Plenty of space for folded items and hanging with open shelving. Both the drawer and doors retain their original chrome bar handles, all work smoothly. Very attractive stand alone piece that from every angle offers beautifully figured walnut veneers.
