Art Deco period chest of drawers in walnut and Macassar

Art Deco Wardrobes are pleased to offer this fabulous, just restored, out of our workshop, 1930’s period chest of drawers. This fabulous example, rare in shape and design, consists of 2 drawers over one wide drawer suspended between 2 large radius pedestals. The top is stunning bookpaged figured walnut and stepping down the tops of the pedestals have high gloss ebonised surfaces with stunning Macassar  to the curves of the sides. The drawers are all dove tailed with original handles with matching Macassar. The drawers all run smoothly, drawer runners have been restored giving a lovely smooth action to the drawers. The veneer to the drawer fronts all correspond to each other. A lovely item in fabulous condition.
