A petite 1930s Art Deco Burr Walnut Ladies writing desk
A beautiful petite Art Deco ladies writing desk in burr walnut. The 3 graduated drawers on either side of the desk run smoothly and are all dovetailed in hardwood with polished hardwood liners, original handles, fully working brass lock with key so the top drawer can be fully secured. The show wood top is of extremely figured honey coloured walnut veneer with a short upstand to the rear preventing paperwork being lost over the edge. The whole is raised on outswept bracket feet and is in superb condition having just been through our in house workshops and French polished traditionally by hand.
