1930s Art Deco American walnut desk

At Art Deco Wardrobes we are delighted to offer you this fabulous 1930s Art Deco period pedestal desk in American Walnut. This wonderful and versatile piece of furniture comes to you fully refinished and ready to use. It features a bank of 3 deep drawers to the left hand side each ash lined and fully five tailed all retaining their original Art Deco chrome bar handles Moving to the centre is a shallow frieze drawer which comes with lock and key. All the drawer runners are in good condition and the drawers all run smoothly. The right hand pedestal  features an end cupboard (shelved)  again with original chrome bar handles. Above are 2 shelved recesses making this desk very versatile indeed. The fabulous top bordered with a thumb molding is a glorious honey colour featuring a distinctive Art Deco chamfer to the corner adding to its drama.Finally the rest of this wonderful piece is as equally smart as the front polished to perfection. Allowing this desk to be placed more centrally as a statement item.
