1920/30’s Art Deco Walnut Skyscraper Chest of Drawers

At Art Deco Wardrobes we are pleased to offer you a fabulous Art Deco 1920/30’s chest of drawers in pale figured walnut. A wonderful example having recently been restored in our own workshops. All the drawers have had their runners rebuilt and has been completely re French polished and is a gorgeous pale honey colour. The sides of this piece are as beautiful as the front having very long extended grain pattern contrasting with pale tones adding some real drama to its look.  Raised upon a very sturdy plinth (walnut veneered) it has 5 very slightly graduating drawers all veneered in stunning figured walnut. The drawer linings are all in excellent condition with new runners as mentioned so they work beautifully. The drawers retain their original and very striking single wooden drawer pulls with chrome end caps which are polished in piano black. Finally to the top a stepped shoulder with the upper most drawer and above the most beautiful bookpaged and quartered veneered top.
Overall a beautiful Art Deco Chest of drawers in a pale honey colour, fully dovetailed, waiting for a new owner.
